I run Sky's crossmember with dual case and a 4.7 gear in the rear case. After tearing up a transfer case mount and an engine mount I started looking for solutions to eliminate future driveline issues. I replaced my engine mounts and welded chain links to them. I also put a brand new factory mount on the rear case. I still had pretty much the same driveline play. My driveline brake disc was hitting the sides and rubbing. I decided I still needed something more.

Options I considered:
FROR crossmember ($299)
Toyota heavy duty t-case mount from Marlin ($110)
4xinnovations super duty transfer case mount ($75)

I wasn't ready to spend $299 to replace a my Sky crossmember when there is nothing wrong with it. I found out about the transfer case mount 4xinnovations designed and was impressed. Decided to give it a try.

Features:
*Energy Suspension Poly round bushings that will not split.
*Thicker steel plates that are laser cut and CNC formed for the best fit possible.
*Direct replacement mount
*If you need remove your transfer case or transmission you now only need to remove the two bolts from the bushings

The verdict:
The product was shipped and received in a very timely manner. 4xinnovations customer service is excellent! The mount is of very good quality. Installation was a breeze. Now my driveline is firm, vibrations greatly reduced, and no more rubbing or excessive play. Definately worth the $75 to upgrade and have no worries.

I can definitely see where that would be a better design than OEM and looks a little easier to service as well. Are those leaf spring bushings the bolts run through, or are they made specifically for that part?

That I can not answer that for sure. I know they are Energy Suspension bushings that can be purchased from a dealer that sells Energy Suspension bushings. For more specific information I would contact Adam at 4xinnovations.

I just did this mod as well and it made a huge difference. Drives much better and is actually easier to shift gears since the shifters aren't flopping all over the place. I really like it (and mine's a DD too and I don't feel that it's overly harsh).

They are a standard Energy Suspension bushing, and we do stock and offer replacements (but you shouldn't ever need to replace them) and bushing kits for your own projects.

Mine have a lot of play also, did you put one on both cases or just one case?

I run a mount on just one case. Looks like Kurt is running a stock mount on the front case, and another is running the SD mount on both cases. Any of those ways will work just fine.

I am running running a stock mount in front and a Super Duty T-case mount in the rear. Made a big difference in the amount of play my tranny and t-cases have. If I had to guess I would say it cut it in half.

I run stock mounts on both cases, I was thinking just replacing one of them with that heavy duty one would be sufficient.

Took the truck out on the trails Thanksgiving weekend and had no issues with rubbing, excessive play, or vibration. Great product! Wish I would have had it a year or two ago.
