I was glad to have you AIM. That big hill was like surfing a wave of rocks. The whole hill moved under you tires.

On the way home my son and I found a 2X4 chevy pickup stuck up to it's doors at a boat launch. The guy was using an oar as a shovel. In the spirit of the day I through him a line and got him out.

And AIM, I don't know what you fed your son for breakfast but I'd take it of the menu! Boy was he wound up!

Is that big downhill part of carnage? i don't remember that.

It's on the south side of the powerlines, these guys were the first YT'ers
to run it! That side is alot drier, but there is a LOT of off camber stuff.

off camber... ugh... so stressful but land tank made it look easy!

Those are some really great pics Pete!

Does anyone have any more pictures from the stock run? There were a couple good spots on the trail. One really muddy hill in particular that we were hung up on for a while, I was proud to have pulled myself out of and I saw someone with a camera. I'm leaning toward Jose or Jason?

Thank you !!! everyone! I had a great time Sunday, the meeting, the socializing, the wheeling. It was entirely a great day!

Tim, thanks for leading us through the hard stuff ;) Harry, thanks for covering twice the trail that the rest us did, you almost need a Harbour Masters license to turn a wagon around ;) Grimes great job piloting for your first time out!!! And thank you to those that had to take a strap, I know it's hard to admit defeat. It was very nice to wheel with people in control of thier rigs and not just mashing the skinny pedal.

I'm sorry I left everyone at the staging point, hope you all made to pavement ok. I had to go and get a friend from the intermediate group that needed to head out (they were barely in the trail at 4pm, must have been a long day) and the run to the power lines was a whole other adventure in it self. Larry a big thank you for going with me, I never would have tried that mud hole without you. Damn that was deep! One more big thank you to Toyota for making such fine trucks! The S'Taco performed flawlessly all day, even with the street slicks on it. And no incriminating photos or evidence that the S'Taco ever left pavement :)

And HeavyMetalViking, I fixed your tag line for you; '87 4runner stock, 31s, flowmaster, needs shocks and bumper bolts.

Thank you ALL!!!
Jr.

Looks like loads of fun!

That is a great turnout and the trail shots look like you guys were enjoying yourselves. Making me think I should bring more than my Subaru to NY...
Thanks for sharing the pics

it was a great time. Somewhere between the last run and this weekend my rear locker decided it wanted some love before working again. Some of the muddiest crap I've been in and the rear was open the whole time. Only needed help twice and the first time I high centered on a huge rock.

I think we are over due for another Boston meet. It has happened on a Thursday night in Somerville in the past and everyone is welcome.
