When Cottonland went to Moab last year I made them all get a Blake's with Green chilies.
I like Blake's better than in n out and that is saying a lot!!

LoneRanger- great call on Malpais - incredible spot. We practically had it all to ourselves and spent 6 hours there today. Beautiful.
awesome. glad to hear you saw it. best kept secret n all that. post some pix if you took them. I can smell the pines wafting over the sun-warmed lava and its making me homesick. Did you wheel through it or just hit some hiking trails? there are some amazing caves out there. some of them have year round ice.

Loving it. Pics are North Rim, camping, L.A., Venice Beach, Hoover Dam. Headed to Zion right now. Got to 119 degrees today. I'll upload a link to all the good pics when I get back. These are just iphone pics I've been sending my wife.

They've been around enough to not be too shocked, but they definitely loved it. Me too- best part of L.A. Best tacos of the trip. Here's a few more phone pics.

Lowest is 59 tonight in Moab. Next was 60 just outside the North Rim. Warmest night was 95 in Vegas. Highest daytime temp was 122 in Mohave.
Damn thats great. When we went to moab it was 80 at night... Swamp coolers said F it.
inspired to start planning for when my 2 year old is a 6 year old...Ron how old are your boys and have they done much seat/travel time like this before?
