Suggestions please for easy Southern Utah areas for offroad camping (1 Viewer)

Hi

I will be traveling with the wife to Overland Expo in May and hope to tie a few days in southern Utah between St. George/Zion and North Rim of Grand Canyon. What spots would you recommend where the wife and I can explore and camp that isn't too daunting to access? Is Kanab an area to spend time in?

Check out Coral pink sand dunes state park and the surrounding area, or peekaboo canyon. Both are about ten miles north of Kanab.
