All I have to say is that there is probably a reason these guys are mounting tires for a living....... ;)

They can't find any women? :bounce:

Women are too smart to mount tires

I have been buying tires from Disc. Tires for years, and do so because of their best price policy, but mostly because they've alway's fixed my flats, even rotated tires, all for free. Everytime they work on my LC, I go through the torque issue argument on it. The first time though, they broke two lug studs on the front end. I was so pissed, they sent me to a shop up the street to get it fixed. The guy there started working on it, but when I asked if he had ever worked on this type of front axle he said no, so I asked him to put the wheels back on so I could just take it to Toyota. I was about to hop back in and drive back to Discount tire when I decided to walk around it. Another lub stud was broken! Now I drive back to Discount tires and ask the manager how he now wants to handle this. He walked around it and now one of the center caps was missing. The previous shop didn't install one correctly. He called Toyota, got their price, then I offered him to take that off the tires and I'ld fix it correctly myself. That was fine with him, and I got two and a half tires free, BFG AT KO's. I was needing to repack the front end anyway, so buying new studs and installing them all the way around was fairly easy. Ever since then, I don't trust anybody, and even telling them to torque my rims to Lexus spec, they still wrote down as LC 120 lbs and the guy was about to torque them to that. That was last week when they put my 315 MTR's on. OH Yeah, They also said they wouldn't fit, and I said they would, just do it!
I still like their service of fixing flats, and most everyone I've talked to from managers to the grunt workers are very nice BUT!!! Don't just trust them. Watch them every minute!

Looks great Romer. You were spot on saying it's all about being an educated consumer. I just need to find a Toyota parts mgr that knows as much as me now :D lol
