You have an LC 200 GXR in Virginia? Pics.
Who said in VA? Originally purchased in UAE, currently in Mongolia. I’ve driven it in most of Europe and Asia/Middle East. Looking to replace it with new G wagon for global adventures.

It’s your money.......but global adventures in a new MB G-wagen may not be the wisest thing. G-wagen are extremely capable and beautiful....but not exactly a picture of reliability. And i certainly would not trust any 1st year Mercedes!
Totally agree - looking to change things up. Would also need to do the mods to get it right for over landing.

And good luck with mods! They were far in between on the last gen G-wagen. Not sure about the new gen, but the last gen did not have any good rock sliders. The side exhaust thing is cool but impractical. My friend had one...2004. Repeated window regulator failures galore. GPS antenna fail. Windshield wiper motor Fail. And the last one that broke the camel’s back....engine mount failure...so much for the famed off-roader!
IDK. Not that interesting. I had a 2008 LC, which I traded in 2012 for a 2009 LX with low miles.
Got my wife a 2011 LX.
We then both dumbed out.
I traded the LX in 2015 for a Range Rover, which I hated.
She got a Yukon XL, which she hated.
In 2016, I got a 2016 LC and her a 2017 LX.
Then I just traded the 2016 LC on a semi-built 2019 LC.
Basically, I have spent a ton of money to get back to the same truck I had ten years ago??!

Lol. It’s best to buy one of each at the same time. Ive traded LX for new LX every five years since 2000. They better hurry up with new version in 2020 because I’ve a 15 LX and want to keep record straight/even.
Thanks. Lots of interesting mod options out there for G platform, but pricey. even has portal axles.

This thread reads like its from a Tacoma or Jeep forum. Do better. There are a handful of folks around here that contribute the majority of the content, some have utilized the 200 platform in life & death situations, some use it professionally in the harshest environments imaginable, some are folks who like to push the limits of the platform for off-road capability and some are simply people who want the best-made vehicle on the planet. Based on their contributions to this community, these folks have earned more respect than has been shown in this thread. For the sake of the quality of the community, can we all just holster our egos and start from a place of mutual respect? If that doesn't float your boat all I can say is there is plenty of evidence over the history of this forum to demonstrate who the trolls are, who talks out of their ass, who is making good-faith contributions and those who attack them. Ask yourself which of those groups describes you and which do you aspire to be? Do better.

im sure engineers told you that. They took the LC frame and fundamentally changed it for the tundra. They are two different frames altogether.
