That’s what a board room of a few Toyota management and engineers told me when I was assessing the capabilities of different models for use as non standard vehicles by the DoD. I was a green suiter back then, doing a specific job. (As said much earlier in this abomination of a thread)
I know a lot of people here are passionate and true enthusiasts about these vehicles. I love it, but that doesn’t negate the fact that some of us don’t use these vehicles for recreation. When we do that, we are pretty serious about what equipment is actually capable of. It requires guys like me, who ask specific questions, based on long evaluated requirements and refinement, with zero BS allowed to be returned. Men’s lives are at steak, and if we do our job right, the bad ones loose theirs. I’m sure you know this with an LMTV as your avatar.
