No..... never heard of such a thing. I mean sometimes levers will stick a little, but for 2 days? My diff lever is smooth as silk....

I didn't try that hard to get it back into 4HL or 4HH untill we reached the end of the trail. I did try rolling forwards and backwards and a bunch of other things before it did release, but they didn't work untill I was back on the pavement.

It could have been driver error I'm still learning about the truck everytime I take it on the trail.

no biggie. I got "stuck" in 4L the first time I went offroad as well. I remember it fondly as I have gotten used to the mechanics over the years. Nothing to be ashamed of, just a normal part of learning your truck. Cheers!

rolling forward/backward can help, as can turning the wheel a little while applying gentle pressure on the lever...always in neutral tho, don't wanna do it while in gear

basically, the drivetrain has a little torque pressure on the t-case gears...common on lots of rigs (and every single one I've owned...lol)

Good to hear you got it out of 4 lo. Did you get your lift you were talking about? Took me 14 hours to get home from that trail!

I was home and unpacked by 6 PM.;p Lift has been ordered and shipped, Rock Rails are still not in stock:doh: but with some luck everything will come together before our next club run...

I must say if I had to be stuck in 4LL, The Whipsaw trail was a good one don't think I shifted higher then 2nd gear more then 3 or 4 times:)

Ryan here is another photo of us 6200+ feet in the air followed by a photo of Rob my passanger looking for somthing damaged once we got to Coalmont. Enjoy and see you on the trail:beer:

Yup, we sure were high. As I was coming down, I could hear a bunch of cracking and popping noises. I finally figured out it was my plastic water bottles compressing from the altitude changes.:D
