This is the best. Toyota can remidy the situation simply by bringing in the vehicles we want! They won't be getting my money for a newer vehicle until they do just that (besides I could buy a LHD '200 series turbo-diesel tomorrow if I had the cash)!!

well, i went to icbc today after work, told the guy i wasn't happy with the payout and that just the accesories alone would be in the thousands never mind the engine and tranny...so he was perfectly ok with that, looked at all the adds i printed off, and asked me how much i wanted for it? i was a little shocked at how easy it went, then he said "how about somewhere between $7500-$9000" which i agreed to and i get my check tomorrow after he reviews everything again and writes up a new check. If all goes as planned i'll have another cruiser within a couple of weeks. the only downside is my username might not be able to stay as "mikehj60" but hj61 would be sweet
