Hi all,

I just got myself a 2000 Land Cruiser. I'm thinking of replacing the current stock suspension with the same.

I'm wondering if anyone has kept the stock suspension and added bigger tires. I'm eyeing the 285/75/16 KO3s.
Will also probably upgrade coils in the rear as I plan to put a roof rack and RTT.

Anyone do something similar with their setup? Anything I need to take into consideration?

I just did it. No issues.

This will work no issues. I ran that setup with ko2s for years. Recently went even bigger to 285/75r18. And that works fine too with a bit of trimming ….

My 2000 UZJ100 in VXR trim from Saudi - riding on Dobinsons coils and shocks. Front coils are stock height and rears are +1".
I went with Toyo Open Country AT IIIs in LT285/75 R16. Tires fit front/rear without any rubbin or scrubbin. Ride great with excellent road feel/feedback.
