As I upgraded my FJ I kept all the stock stuff. I figure since they are not building any more of them they will just get more rare. I figure if I sell it I will throw in all the stock stuff so some one can restore it.
It generally cost more to ship a used leaf spring than it's worth.
Man! I have never heard of anyone giving them away for free. I have a buddy who was looking for some last month and the cheapest used set he could find was like $135/spring for the fronts, and $185/spring for the rears.

Good luck. As others have said, many people give stockers away. THe exception is FJ55 rears. I got a free set of 40 stockers-thank you ibewebman!
If you find someone in need, you might get $100. THe stock shackles usually have rusty pins and so are worth nothing and the u-bolts have long since streched and are also due for replacement.
Seriously, good luck with the sale, but don't count on the $$ to fund your build.
I got a set of rusty stockers for $25 a pack and looking back on it, I should have found them cheaper because I had to do a lot of work to run them. I wouldn't pay any more than $25 each for even good condition leaf packs. Who knows when an old spring is going to break...
