I needed a rim for a spare, wanted it to match. found these on craigslist, talked with the owner and said he had them for a while, thought they were on a Nissan, then on an older Chevy pickup.
bought them and got them home and here is what I found.
my 1990 62 series rims have slightly smaller holes in the rims, 1/4" in both directions
the "new" rims match the rims on my 1988 62 series
did they change thru the years or are they from something different?

I checked a painted 40 rim and it has the larger holes
1st pic is the "new" rim
2nd pic is next to the small hole rim on my 1990
3rd pic is the small hole rim alone
4th is next to my 1988 with large holes

I'm no expert on this but that looks like a 60 wheel. 62 is slightly different dimensions.

Huh. Interesting. Wonder if this reflects a source change for the wheels vs a change in design by Toyota?

Someone indicated in a thread that 62s have 6 inch width vs 5.5 inch of the 60. I recently dropped the spare on my 60. After cleaning it I saw it was stamped 15 x 6.

Strange....I'll check mine in just a bit....I thought they were 5.5 as well. What year is your 60?

@3_puppies I think it is a 60 rim. Here is a pic of mine. Just verified my wheel is stamped 15 X 6 also. It is an 84.
