Trying to follow Andy Ridge through a mud hole, someday I’ll learn.

Spent some time with my father-in-law blowing off some steam yesterday.

Finished replacing the water pump and installing the winch on the BJ70 tonight.
Replacing the water pump was actually a lot easier than installing the winch. Even though I selected a 24v Pierce winch (rated at 9000lb) that was narrow enough to fit between the frame rails, it was deeper and taller than the M12000 that I have on the 80. As a result, I had to make fairly extensive modification to my front bumper.
It is done for now and I am a couple of steps closer to being ready for GSMTR.

Not entirely Cruiser content, but my navigator graduated yesterday from UGA. Her degrees are in Biology and Cellular Biology.
Her selections of personal information struck me as funny. At the Biology department commencement ceremony, she identified free food as her undergraduate highlight. And at the Cellular Biology ceremony, she selected a picture from GSMTR2016 for her personal bio.
Between ceremonies she further succeeded in shocking us with her drink selection at a campus bar; bar special is a Blue Mother F*cker. The drink did not seem that good but the shock value when we heard her order it is what she was truly seeking.

Congrats to Malissa, now who’s going to keep you out of trouble.

That's awesome Larry. Congrats

Roger, It may have to be Carolyn:princess:. Med school starts in August and effectively goes year round for the next 4 years, so this may be her last GSMTR for a few years. In fact with residency and fellowship work being even more time demanding, it might be a decade before she will have time to keep me on the straight-n-narrow. :poop:

Spotted this beauty was parked in the display area at SOFIC today.

Clearly, being special in Ohio holds a lot meaning for the Land Cruiser community

This crop duster derivative might be supporting a different kind of farmer.

My windshield with 4 days of trail pass stickers plus an inspection sticker for CMCC. [And yes that is Melissa reading a book]
It came and went way too fast.

My inspection sticker didn’t survive the multiple windshield washing from all the dust.
I agree it didn’t last long enough.

Bryant’s Cove had some overgrown trails.

Not Cruiser related yet ... maybe in a few years when she is one of my co-pilots
