We've migrated over to mill creek brewery. We are in the back

@Snafu13F @Monty231 so glad to meet you George and good to see you Kevin. Appreciate Albert hosting us before we migrated over to Mill Creek Brewery for burgers. @Rainman Always good to see you. We had about 10 or 12 total tonight. Albert and I talked about just basically making it a standing thing. We'll talk more and if you all want to stop by cool, if not, no worries.

The WarPig was in attendance and according to Albert has set the new ramp record.

See yall soon.

Sorry I couldn’t make it. Am out of town for work. Hopefully I’ll be there for the next one

Bueller?

@Tennessee80 @ukaviator @Monty231 @BigMF (hope the parents are doing well enough to see you) @MB1 @BLKcalibra

I will be there, I know a few other non-MUD folks will be.
Hey @jynx, my apologies for missing the meeting and for not letting you know ahead of time whether I'd be there or not. I swear I'll get there some day. Hope y'all had a good time!

No worries bud. Be safe and we'll catch you at the next one.

It was fun. A bit chilly, but fun. Have no idea how many years it's been since I attended an STLCA gathering. Glad to see it's still going. I'm sure it's quite a bit different than the early 90's club.

Thanks for inviting me.

I hate that I missed the meeting Thursday. I wasn’t aware that it was happening. I guess I’m one of the ones that @jynx mentioned that doesn’t get on Mud much anymore. But, I’ll say that the club is still important to me. I’m going to make a point to be more active on the virtual side of things.

Several of us that are very involved in the club have been busy over the last few months getting GSMTR together. We had a great event the last week of October and look forward to celebrating the 30th Annual Great Smoky Mountain Trail Ride the week of June 14th in 2021. For those who don’t know, GSMTR is an official TLCA sanctioned event that’s held annually at Windrock Park. It’s a week long event, but many come Thursday to Saturday each year. We’d love to have y’all join us in 2021.

The STLCA is also working on holding regular quarterly trail rides/camping trips around the region. We have our annual New Years Ride coming up next month. Everyone is welcome

We'll meet at 2605 B Mine Rd Tracy City, TN 37387 Friday January 1st 2021 at 9:00 AM CST and ride into the Cove from there. We'll be camping Friday and Saturday night. Bring food, water and camping gear for the weekend. Be prepared for any type of weather as it can change quickly in the area.

If you’re interested in becoming more involved in the club and all that we have going on, feel free to give me a call or shoot me a text. We’re working hard to bring everyone together in such a large geographic region. We have club members across several of the Southeastern states and beyond.

If you haven’t checked out the new website lately, head over to www.stlca.org. It’s a work in progress put together by volunteers, but it’s coming together nicely. You can follow along on Instagram.com/stlca and we have a
group page on Facebook, too. We are trying to keep up with all of the avenues of communication and will be doing better with the Mud clubhouse as well.

I’m looking forward to seeing y’all on the trails soon.

and a huge shout out goes to @Rainman for allowing me to revamp his artwork to update the club logo a few months ago. We have t-shirts and decals available through the club. Reach out to @andy's60 to get yours.

First ride of 2021. Our Annual New Year’s Ride... Sometimes cold and sometimes wet, but always a great time!

Who’s brave enough?

For those who have never been into the Cove.

I strongly recommend sliders, skids and at least a 33" tire for this trip. there will be several water crossings. As Jamie said, it is a fully self contained trip. There is no cell service and just "running back out" isn't really an option. It is as close to a real deal expo style run as you can do around here. The Cove is awesome and camping by the river is amazing, but be prepared.

Unlike recent years, the 2021 New Years Ride will not be an expedition style ride. We will be camping on the property of Coalmont OHV, an in progress off road park that the STLCA has a hand in helping build. We will be setting up camp on the park property and doing day runs into the cove on Friday and Saturday.

The cove isn’t as scary as some make it out to be, but quick changes in weather can change that statement just as quickly. Like Matt said, don’t go unprepared.

@jynx, You and Erin should come with the GX. I may take Kathy’s if I have sliders on it by then.

We ran it in the GX last year, and that was when I decided that aluminum skids suck! Killed the aluminum gas tank skid on a big rock.

HECK NO! NO GX!
That sounds like a good run for @jynx to take out his new big toy "PIG ZILLA"

What say @tgreco, @TeddyBoy

I'd freeze my A off in that thing.

@TeddyBoy @FJCRAWLER
We all know @jynx is a fair-weather wheeler.

I've been spoiled with the 80 and GX, got to learn how to deal with the open cab scenario...

I make no apologies! They may be pink But they are super cute and make my butt look amazing! ;)

What are you talking about - the weather looks perfect next weekend for no windshield :flipoff2:. I'm in the no windshield boat as well, but we're all supposed to be avoiding closed spaces right now anyway. I was wondering if those tires rubbed the rear fender wells - don't want to slice up those fancy tires.
