So with all that being said why don't we try Double Hill Billiards in Hixson on Tuesday September 25th at 7:00 pm EASTERN (for Hugh)

Let us know if you can make it!

Todd

We will give this a try, hope to see you all there.

If the smoking bothers folks, there are a few locations downtown that have big beer selections and no smoking.

Todd, Double Hill does have an outdoor smoking deck...and a large assortment of beer.

seen it, it IS very nice but i heard some crazy $$$ was thrown at it. i hate walking into that place to get parts:mad:

I heard two numbers...the driver that drove me to work when I dropped my 80 off told me $80k, the other came from the FJ40 guy that is coming to the next meeting with me that knows the owner of the FJ (son of the owner of Capital) and he said he heard $60k...either one is insane.

Looks like I will be bringing two new guys. My FJ40 friend and a friend of his that is rebuilding a 40 as well.

I vote for any place with a large assortment of beer.
Or anyplace with just SweetWater.

I vote for Double Hill,
Tues the 27th
7:00pm

We can always return to T-Bones.........

I can't believe he dropped 60K on that. I spent an hour going over it when I was trying to get them to put toyota trails in the package with the FJ Cruisers and most of the parts were cool cruiser repo stuff and not OEM. I noticed repo parts even used when I know there is NOS toyota stuff available. Also I was told that Capital did all the work and I doubt it was done for retail pricing. To be honest, for a frame off its a 10 foot truck, if you know what to look for. If you've ever seen a stage III TLC up close you'll know what I mean, and also what a 70K frame off looks like.

But to each his own...

See ya'll at the meeting...Tuesday the 25th Brog :flipoff2:

XTuT. I can't see it (and have not seen the truck) but 60 to 80 K, c'mon.

If I can get a general headcount, if there are enough of us, I will make sure they (DoubleHill) have someone on staff that night to just take care of us...

If there will just be a few of us, then I wont bother...

So, count me in, plus another FJ40 owner and a friend of his

Thats 3...

Is there anyway I can post a .wmv on here? I have a commercial of the DoubleHill I can post.

just make sure they don't have sausage servers!

LOL, only one guy server...I will make sure to request someone with DOUBLE HILL characteristics.

Im bringing another FJ40 owner with me. His is a '77, near stock, but restored 40. Might have seen it around E. Chattanooga. His plate reads "No Jeep".

I think I've seen his 40. Is it light yellow or tan? I saw the no jeep plate on it at Mojo Burrito once and this morning near Cigna office downtown.

Yes, he lives in N. Chatt and works at TVA with me...so Im sure that was it. Also, yes, it is a light tanish color with black steelie rims.

Saw a really nice green 40 with a white hard top Wed morning that had the dealer temp tag on it running around down here too...anyone seen that one?

The green one belongs to the guy that I am bringing Tues. Justin.

I'm sure between us we know all of the Cruisers in town.
too funny.

Our shirts could read......
"Third hills need not apply."
Speaking of that...anybody interested in some STLCA bumper stickers???? Shall we put it on the agenda? I am willing to front the cash and get them made if we can come up with a design.

We have a bumper sticker, only one left but could have more printed if there is interest. Also we have club decals, I'll bring some to meeting. You get a free decal when you join, I'll bring membership applications. October is our membership drive month as we have to renew our members with SFWDA by 15 Nov.
