I am needing to lift the truck for mechanical reasons which is not a problem... for me. My wife is height impared and already has a hard time getting in the truck and adding 2 inches is a wrap for her. But darn it if she doesnt want to use the truck...so here is my question??

Do people use "steps" or if I can get away with it, sliders on the fj55:confused: It would have to be step bars for her and my kids

If I have to, I will ban her from the truck but I might need my attorney after said ban...:ban:

thanks for your answers

I think you answered your own question. Do what you have to do, to keep everybody happy. It's no good for anybody, if some have a problem getting in and out.

Are you willing to keep it lower, for the sake of marital bliss?

Ige kept a plastic step thingie in the passenger footwell of TWRECKS...had a rope attached to it so she could haul it up once she was seated.
