Curious to see if anyone has a good solution to make getting in and out of the rear of the troopy, or I guess any 70 series, easier. Maybe some sort of a step that folds down from the rear bumper, maybe simply a step stool that is set up when parked...
My troopy has a small lift and 33-in tires so it's high enough that climbing in unassisted can be difficult.

I bought a hitch mounted step off Amazon. Kind of a pain to store when not using, takes up a bit of space. They come in different heights. You’ll have to zoom in on the picture, it’s the only pic I have.

Thanks... Hoping for a solution that stores a better or is mounted and folds up somehow.

If you are not afraid of catching Land Rover cooties you could try the folding step that is for Defenders. No experience with them, but I've been eyeing it for awhile, and looks like it would work.

Have you seen one in person? Is it sturdy enough? I don't like that it bolts under the bumper - in harms way. I wonder if it could be modded? I might have to order one from Amazon to see... easy returns with Prime!

I haven’t seen one in person, but looks sturdy enough as a step. Personally, I wouldn’t be worried about where it is mounted as I’m unlikely to be dragging my bumper. My receiver hitch will take a hit before my bumper does.
