Has anyone figured out what to do to save our steering wheels? When I bought my 55, the steering wheel was in excellent condition. in just 6 short months, the plastic above and around the horn button is failing.

Somebody did it here, maybe Nuclearlemon? Gouge out the cracks, fill cracks with epoxy filler, sand down whole wheel then paint. Sound right?

Automotive paint works well for a wheel on a car that’s not driven much but will wear quickly on a daily driver.

If you want to make it like new and last for a daily driver recasting is the best option.
