If this is old information please excuse me and just ignore the info.

I have been looking for some of the older style steel spoke wheels, I believe they are now called wagon wheels, none that I found would fit. Something was always wrong. The first set had a 4" offset which would require a spacer which I was reluctant to use.

Last week I stumbled on a listing on eBay that proved to be fruitful. The brand Pro Comp has a 15 x 8 wheel, "D" style openings, model 51-5883S3.5 that fits. The lug pattern is 6 lugs on 5.5", the center opening is 4 1/4" and the offset is 3.5" which clears the tie rod ends. The rep at 4WheelParts.com I spoke with stated they WOULD NOT fit so I took a chance and emailed Pro Comp and had an exchange with an experienced rep there. From all the measurements he gave me I was hoping for a fit so I took a chance and ordered 5. I opened the first one and tried it and it was perfect.

SO, if you are looking for a spoke type wheel, try Pro Comp.

What year is your rig? Looks like you have front disk brakes. Do you have stock calipers? Prior posters found the back of the D windows did not clear the caliper.

1970 FJ40, aftermarket disc setup from JTOutfitters using GM calipers. I bolted the wheels with two lugs and was able to rotate easily with no apparent interference. The edge of the caliper to the rim has good clearance and I was mainly concerned with clearance between the rim and tie rod end.
