Installing my Mini in a Savage roof mount [Starlink Mini Rooftop Mount, Permanent Mounting Options - https://www.savageutv.com/collections/starlink-mini-products/products/mini-rooftop-mount?variant=41146716291115] as soon as the mount arrives.

Made custom StarLink power extension feeding to a DT-2 connector, to minimize the run of voltage dropping 18 g wire used in the OEM cable and temporary bootlegged mount. Averaging 22 watts with 40 watt peak on a 12 VDC vehicle system supply, running about 12.6 volts off battery and 13.8 with engine running. I read that the only reason for tilt setup is for snow and rain runoff, however in the Savage mount a piece of HDPE will be protecting the antenna surface.

Nice! Great speeds too.

I did some driving around this evening and found the speeds dropped by a factor of 10x while in motion. Granted I do live in an area with lots of trees.
