Jester.... Mail it to Extremetoy1@yahoo.com

I will compile an email database to use for the group.

we do need to maybe meet up on a sunday (?) to discuss and start to structure a club/group so it can grow...any suggestions here would be great.... I know there are some other members who are on this forum who dont go into chat or look in other forums for whatever reason
geez, I didn't even know there was a forum for clubs!
;)

Maybe if we can figure out a way to contact (search members an Pm?!) the people who are in or aroun the bistate area.

suggestions on a night to meet and other ideas?... post up!

hey just got to this thread.......I would love to meet at Flatnasty(especially since it is 30 minutes from my apartment)....i like the idea of starting a club.

KC seems to be the center for TAC(correct me if i am wrong) and I know its not that far but it seems to be a long distance away. Rolla is the dead spot of Missouri due to it being in the center of Springfield, KC, STL, Jeff C, and Columbia.

Let me know.....probably can't make alot of weekly meetings but ya never know.

he said that March 10th is the weekend before the big St Pats party here that UMR is reknowned for so I'm not sure what he has planned.

I will make a list of names and corresponding screen names of who is interested so far and PM all of you with this info...
If you would like, I will make a list of names/screennames/ and the 4x4s they own if you want I will post this list of vehicles.ownersscreennames/names as this grows. I will not post anyones info if they would rather I not.

again thanks for your interest so far everyone and to remind March 10th FLATNASTY in southern Mo. (click name for map and park details) I will call the park and confirm that we wont have a conflicting schedule with anyone/group (there will be 2 J33P runs this month so it may be littered with j33p parts still:doh: ;) )

the fees are 15 per vehicle/driver, each PASS is 5.00 extra

The weekend of the 10-11th the park is having a "nightmare" 15 hr trail ride overnight the req. are 35" locker fr/rr and winch- raffle the next morning for the "survivors" and breakfast. 75.00 for those interested..... (motivation to finish my crawler?!)

I look forward to meeting everyone and watching the group grow:cheers:

Bryan, I think you've got all my info - but let me know if you need a seperate email just for this list. Otherwise, I'll see you at Flat Nasty!

Hey, I sent an e-mail,I am in Branson, keep me posted. Thanx, Darren

Darren, there is a small group of us in Springfield. We wheel around here and in arkansas. Get me some info and you can link up with us. We are trying to put together a informal monthly meeting to discuss upcomming events. It may someday lead to a L/C club.

Flatnasty/ Email Contact

Hey guys, Extremetoy1 sent me over here from...https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=133458

I'm located in Rolla, MO

Flatnasty is like....48 miles from my house? Thats nice.

March 10th? Looks good. Does everyone just meet there or drive together, details to come?

New to wheelin, my pigs not trail ready, but would love to come see what it is all about.

Can a guy come watch?

Email is brocklong@gmail.com

I think we will all probably just meet down there at a certain time.....if you don't want to take the pig you can ride down there with me and my wife, if you are married you can both ride with us. My 60 isn't that trail ready either but i think there are some lighter trails that might suit the truck. If you want to take yours we can convoy down there, along iwth 4runny if he goes.

You can go to St. Joe if you like the wide open spaces. If you squint your eyes, it feels like the desert

The trails are rather extreme, and maily geared towards ATV's. But just cruising around, no pun intented, is enjoyable. Don't forget your flag.

There are a few "light" trails at flatnasty but even the lighter trails get a bit hairy at times. One "green" trail is actually 15 miles in length. The trails are extremely tight adding to the fun and accounting for the scratches down the side of 4runny. It is the only place I have ever gotten stuck. My truck was actually leaning against a tree for a while until an fj40 winched me out and this was a "green" trail. Fortunately there was minimal damage. I saw winches being used on the "green" trails a little too often. That's why this year I'm going to be back and locked so I don't run into this problem again. Lots of fun but make sure you have another rig to pull yourself out or a winch.

The trails at St. Joe are off limits to trucks, I've come upon a few jeeps who seem to have lost their way. It's inevitable that someone takes 4x4's into the woods. The wide open spaces are where 4x4s' are allowed. The woods trails are almost too narrow in most places for even a Mule. I haven't been down there for 1.5 years.

Since oil and water don't mix, they may have disallowed the 4x4's in the open areas also. There are alot of motorcycles and atv's doing well over 90 in the flat areas. The last time I was down there there was a guy on a drag racing atv who was almost a blur when he came by me. I woulnd't even venture a guess how fast he was going, but my WR450 wide open, couln't touch this guy. (sorry to ramble.)

St Joe Info.

Here is an aerial of St. Joe. I double checked the latest rules and 4x4 are still not allowed in the woods. It's a great place to go on your ATV or Motorcycle, as far as Land Cruising, you can have some fun if you go exploring. The tailings are not as fine as sand, so it doesn't get everywhere like sand. It's a nice Sunday drive.

I'll shoot you an email. What is this Devil's Elbow you are talking about? I've never heard of it.

its is a sharp bend in the big piney river, the town is named after it- the national forest is nearby, some light wheeling there.

dont think the park rangers wont write you up a ticket for being in the woods.... dont ask how I know:doh:

that ATV was prolly the guy on the hotrod Polaris....nitrous and all. My husky wr250 wide open couldnt keep up with him either!!

okay so I am guessing that alot of us will meet in St.louis and caravan down to Flatnasty then meet up with the other group.

I think that Mcdonalds at Bowles ave. in Fenton would be a great place to meet since it is on HWY44. I think that between 730 and 8 would be a good time to meet and still make it down at a good time.
