What do I need to remove this nut? Does anyone have it locally to borrow before I buy it?

I have one too and may live a little closer to ya.

Oh, more times than not, it is pretty loose, and I have used a pair of slip joint plyers and got it off without effort. You will need the socket to put it back on though.

probably not worth driving all the way across town for the socket. you can use a standard equiv but will need to go to harbor freight to get one. close to you they are avail at clark tool. take the outer nut with you, there should have been a nut on the outside and a lockwasher sandwiched between the 2 nuts. youll need to pound that lockwasher flat and reuse, fold couple tabs inside and couple outside when the torque is set.

clark is not normally open on sunday tho. i'll probably have that socket with me at the event tho.

2 1/8 socket works also. They are easier to find. Got mine at sears.

Thanks all. I borrowed one from Kelly tonight. I've got everything else I should need.
