Got home today about 1 and tried to start the Minnow.

When I turned the key, the fuel pump was just bubbling like air was going in. I assumed somehow I crossed the 12v with the ground on the in tank pump so I pulled the damn seat up and nope. It was right.

Then I looked over and saw the light on the rocker was on for the transfer pump.

Damn.

So I got that off and the in tank pump primed and the truck turned over but there was no spark.

JTU happened to text that moment and said maybe a mouse chewed a wire.

I traced away and sure enough found the ignition wire going into the DUI was in 2 pieces.

Put them on and boom. After 3 years the AFI came alive. I was able to do a successful test drive and all systems are go for this one to head back to the Delta

The Minnow is back for some ScheelMann seats.

There really is no bolt in option I like for these so I usually get the Wizard over to make them work.

We add a passenger setup from a 1973+ bucket seat and then weld the mounting brackets to the tool box Pivot bracket from the early 40

The passenger seat will be about 2" higher because we have to clear the in tank fuel pump stuff

We mocked it all up and then tackled the drivers seat first. It's in and finished.

We will work on the passenger tomorrow. Console will be last. We want it as low as possible

I definitely like how you guys tied the driver seat in.

Are the flat brackets part of the scheelmanns? Or are those like a planted bracket?
They are provided by Scheel Mann. Outside vendor other than Planted. These are for the 73 and up

The early ones they provided make you dissect the passenger seat and add it to the OEM frame.

For the 73+ seat brackets does the passenger sit at the same height as the driver seat?
