Nice shots John. That is a damn fine looking Land Cruiser there! In addition, I would like to note that I did not have to winch Lance this time, only a large boulder. Come to think of it, the boulder likely had more wheeling skills than Lance...

There are times when I ride shotgun with Graham, and today was one of them. I must admit I was surprised, he really astonished me today. Usually when he's behind the wheel, I'm sometimes left cringing and shaking my head. But today was different. I didn't have to listen to his Wham! collection. It was UnFreak'n believable! I didn't have to listen to one song today. I don't know if he does it to torture me, or if he likes to relive his experimental days, when he hung out at Celebrities. He keeps telling me these stories about his adventurous youth, and the dates he would bring down to his boat from there. This was way before he went heterosexual, and started a family... No, but seriously I didn't have to listen to Wham! today.

That's true the only winching Graham did today was on this large boulder, that was blocking a safe passage, along with a flat bank, that had little trail for ATVs dug into it on the other side. George went first and for a while there, it looked like he was stuck between a rock, on a rock, and a bank with no grade. The boulder kept sliding George closer and closer to another larger boulder buried along the bank of the creek bed, almost taking out his tail light. We had no way of pulling him away from the boulder in the creek bed bank, since he cut away his bumper/cross member, we didn't have anything to pull him side ways with, without damaging his frame. After seeing George go through this tight area big enough for an ATV, then sliding over this large boulder, and eventually paving the way for us up the bank on his own. With the help of Graham's winch, we decided to move this large boulder out of the way enough, so it wouldn't hinder the rest of us going up the bank. Graham let Greg go second, and made it through with a bit of a crack to his rear bumper on this large boulder. It looked like Graham was next in line, because he was right there, but he decided it would be better if John went ahead, just in case he needed to be winched backwards, if he got hung up on the boulder. Then he suggested we better move the boulder some more, so it would be easier for John to get through, and that way if he makes it through without a scratch, then Graham would know he would be safe as well???:hhmm: Something smells fishy besides Graham's cooler.

Lance is off to Winipeg today to take an interior decorating seminar. Bet he can't wait to throw his room keys in the crystal punch bowl. Hope he remembers his lip gloss...

Anyway- we tried the Go Pro camera- have some mounting details to sort out. At present we can only mount it on a side window?- so I put it further back in hopes of getting a good exhaust tone and a view of the tires- well I got the former and none of the latter- Oh and you'll be treated to my 'how the hell do you turn this thing on?' expression as well... This is the second obstacle with the big drop in, went pretty smooooth if I do say so meselph....

John looks awesome in that first pic of George's. It's almost like he's pulling that truck up the hill with the sheer power of his groin.

It was a great day. Found a nice fishing/swimming area and some other great scenery. It would be a nice area to go for a three+ day camping/fishing/swimming/exploration trip. Next time, I'm going to check out Norton Lake.

If anyone wants to do it again I'm in.

Nice trip! Can we see pics of Indian Arm?

I dont see Phillip anywhere.
