Does anyone have this Tow Hitch Bumper Cover? I got this last week and it seems the receiver hitch is too bulky on the sides. Is it a euro/asian specific model?

I bought a genuine Toyota replacement rear window wiper assembly (blade and holder). I managed to get the old, thirdparty holder off (which was in two parts). But how the !@#$% does get the new one on which is a single piece? The main arm only goes back ~5 inches from the window which is not enough to have the holder ~perpendicular the arm so to go into the slot. Is there a release for the arm so it will go out further? Or some thing else??

All my doors unlock, so it can be done. I don’t remember if it requires tech stream or not. Probably does.

Can definitely do it in Techstream/Carista. But also may be able to adjust setting in dashboard.

If you don’t have a Bluetooth code reader yet, this is as good a time as any to get one. No reason not to have one as a 200 owner. They can get you out of some jams. I think you have to have the subscription to do the programming, but you can buy short memberships. I don’t maintain one, and use the dongle with OBD Fusion mostly.

Might see if it has the ability then. Maybe it even works with Carista or some other app. There is a section in the LC manual that describes the changes the dealer can make. These apps can usually all make the same changes.

so, I have blown my engine. No lights, no noise, but overheated and engine is toast. Has anybody replaced an engine and what was the outcome. I’m worried about putting 15k into this engine and just continuing to have problems. Please share your thoughts and or opinions. The only engine available is a donor with 80k miles. $8k engine, $4k labor, and $3k in other parts (water pump, radiator, fluids, etc)

Current truck mileage? What else is wrong… why are you worried about continuing to have problems?

15k makes sense if you have a truck with 100k and it’s otherwise in good shape. It does not make sense if your truck has 400k on it, has been wrecked and salvage titles, etc. nowhere near enough info in this post for us to offer advice other than “your truck is worthless I’ll come take it off your hands for free :wink wink:”

I spent several hours over the last few days installing Budbuilt sliders on my 200. For the most part, everything bolted up ok EXCEPT for the KDSS lines and manifold on the driver side frame. Those shifted back by 1/4” and I have no idea why. How important is it that these are bolted to the frame? I’d imagine after miles of road vibration this is a potential wear through problem?

I did the same on my LC200 2016 last month and i had tough time getting those lines bolted. There is a detailed video on youtube from the budbuit that is probably and hour long and it was extremely helpful to watch over and over again. It's just the angle you are on the floor that makes getting those bolts in there properly, after several attempts they were in. The other problem i had was with the brake line bolts. i used the shorter m10 bolts supplied in the kit and it worked. A bit challenging but they all went in.

I have a 2011 and I just touch the rear door handle first and it unlocks all that way.

My 13 LX has the option for all doors or driver only when opening the locked car from the driver door.
