I'll thread jack and ask: do you have a pic of your trooper Hatfield? From that axle shot, it looks just a tad modified ;)
 
Here's what I use on my Isuzu Trooper. They seem to work pretty well.

Ebag, weren't you the one who I argued with over shocks for a while and then my eyes were opened and I conceded defeat! So I will be good with just zip ties with 12" of travel and only 862's in the rear?

I don't know that you'll even unseat the spring. My springs are still seated (top and bottom) even with my 14" travel shocks (just barely, granted, and I do have the spacer in there).

Yeah the lower up front is easy, I'm more talking about retention on the upper perches.

Upper perches is a pain. But I'd flex it out and see if it even gets loose first before you worry about it.

Shoot I guess bailing wire would work fine too huh?
