I have been getting intermittent SRS/airbag and passenger side seat belt alarms/lights. I am guessing its a wire connection issue under the passenger side seat. Has anyone else experience this? See pics

I have the same issue on my LX570. Unfortunately, the PO who sold me the car stated it was diagnosed as the airbag ECU. $800+ in parts and 5+ hours labor later, it turns out it was the seat belt assembly.

I was quoted $600+ for the part. I'll report back and list the part number required.

Hi Tony, thanks. One of the difficulties of sending out this seat belt assembly is the shipment to Guam due to it's hazmat status. I'll see if any vendors out there are willing to ship.

BTW, did you end up needing the 73240-60320-C0 Outer Buckle in your install?

Thanks!

Yeah, Hazmat will be an issue.
Ah Guam, tell some of those "massage" places in Tamuning they owe me some money. More money than I care to admit.

Nope, only needed the other part, the belt assembly.

Tony,

Looks like it is indeed the local dealer listed the required part is 73210-60670-B1.

Per schematic listed here: Belt & Retractor - Toyota (73210-60670-B1) | Boch Toyota South

It states that B1 replaced 73210-60670-B0. How different is the B0 from B1?

Ebay happens to have a B0 listed here: LEXUS 7321060670B0 GENUINE OEM BELT & RETRACTOR | eBay

BTW, I have an '08 LX570 with pre crash cruise control if that makes any difference.

Most CONUS locations will not ship and I am not willing to pay double the stealership price.

Therefore ebay appears to be my only option at the moment :(

I might even consider cleaning the damn thing hoping it might be a dirty seat belt retractor: Seat belt retractor

Generally, the last two designations denote the color of the item, as in, for your interior. I don't know why that would need updating though.

Either way, that's the part you'll probably need. Assuming it's the same issue I, and others, have had.

Getting it shipped to you is another issue. If you know anyone going stateside for leave, have them tuck it in their check baggage. Otherwise you might be stuck paying extra.

got my new belt retactor today. during the install I snapped the black wire near the main connector (ugh) .. recrimped, plugged in looking good.

Im having the same issue on my 13. You think it might be that bad wire that was causing the issue in the first place?

I wish it was that easy. That wire broke off the new belt retractor. I had to cut off the old pig tail and crimp it on - UGH. Anyway, it seems like it did the trick. I went for a test drive last night with my wife and the alarms are gone. Fingers crossed

Oh, gotcha, for some reason I thought you replaced the seat belt and it did NOT fix the issue.

oh and @TonyP step by step instructions from his post are spot on. The only thing I would add is make sure you pry the black locking clip off the yellow connector with a small flat screw driver before attempting to un-plug it
