I had a chance to look at Paul's 100 (Equipt) at CM10 as well as a few others. I'll see if I can get my friend's 100 this weekend and work out the mounting details. With any luck I'll be posting pics by Sunday afternoon.

FYI (you likely know) I believe the various years + options (e.g. rear AC) have different rear handle mounting arrangements.

I can set you up with a few more Hundys in Durango if needed too.

Yes the multi handle thing will become a challenge. I might take you up on other 100's. Who do you know down here? I don't know too many 100 owners but have probably seen them around town. There are only a few built ones rolling around these parts.

I'll send them this link and they can PM talk to you.

As for the color, can you do a close color match to the dark 80 brown interior?

Question: are you mounting right up against the headliner or do you have washers/spacers to outset the brackets away from the soft material?

Have them drop me a PM

Bracket is spaced away from headliner.

I'm working with my Powder Coater to color match. I've got a good match for the grey interiors already. Brown/tan is proving to be more difficult. Color matching will come with an increase in cost for those who want it. Black is just cheaper to have done.

One other comment looking inside mine today. We keep our 3rd row in as we use it more often than not. You may want to add some loops around the bracket where the old handle used to be to attach the hook that holds up the folded 3rd row seats; applicable for both 100 and 80.

I have a plan for that.

Any plans for 60/62 loving?

After the 100 series I plan to take a look at the 60/62. As I own a 60 that part is handled. But the 60's don't have the 3rd row grab handles. So a new mounting system/idea will have to be developed. I have some ideas already but it will be a while before I get to it.

Good deal, looking forward to seeing what you come up with:beer:

Got mine today for my 1992. Install was easy and looks great too. I will post some pics after I get out this weekend with it. It will be so nice to keep the dogs (especially the new puppy) out of the back seat and gear were it belongs going down the steeps. If you like to just throw your stuff in the truck to get out of town, this makes the load up so quick. No fiddling with straps or bungies to keep things put. No tent bags or any sort of gear falling into the passenger area. Nice piece of mind with the kid in back. Have a feeling there will be some sweet ways to hold my fishiing rods up out of harms way and ready to cast too. Want to add a bracket to hold the fire extinguisher as well. Love the fact that you can see through it well, wont bother me a bit when using the mirror.
Nice work!

When's ETA on the Hundy? :)

Patience Grasshopper. I have 10 more days of hell with my full time job. Then I have time to tackle the 100 series.

edit: some progress on the 100 series

Got mine this morning and installed it in about 30 minutes. It came well wrapped with all the hardware and I had no issues with fitment in the Lexus.

Corbet-

Thanks for working with me on this order. Looking forward to a great product!

Does anyone have any feedback on these? Any rattles or movement? Any issues with attaching gear?

Thanks,
Dave
