I simply rely on the South Georgia "red neck" method of determining speed. If the log trucks are passing you on a regular basis you are going to slow. If you see blue lights in the rear view mirror, you are probably going to fast although this will probably never happen, especially in a diesel Cruiser.

I am use to the KPH aspect of the Speedo, that doesn't really bother me.
The odometer in miles is what appeals to me mostly (less thinking for my old brain on road trips).

My Panama vehicle is in Kilometers, and I never second guess it since what signage that exists,
Matches up with odometer when I reset it.

Just a pet peeve of mine, but I'll work through it. Sigh.

Yea not so much help there, i would expect a whole cluster change for that. I hear you on the pet peeve.
