So after thirty years, my speedo needle had enough of this world and broke off right at the edge of the holder. Does this part even exist? I will have to take the cluster out and apart to replace. Anyone know how the needle is held in?

This is the opposite of what you’ve asked for... but the only way I’ve found to get both mph and kph on the gauge...

i may have a line on a canadian cluster that has kmph as primary and mph as secondary. now to figure out how the needle attaches.... surprised that not too many have had theirs pop smoke and gtfo

Maybe the sticker comes with instructions since you have to take off the needle to put it on. But I doubt it.

Was gonna say that folks without turbo don’t accelerate fast enough to break their speedos...

I was able to remove the needle on one speedo by gently prying up using two spoons or equivalent.
