What's not impressive about available 2nd row seat warmers?

I am having trouble reconciling how Toyota can honestly charge a 7,000 premium for this over the '07. You have redesigns all the time (with technological advances, etc) and the cost usually goes up minimally (maybe 1-2%). The new price increase (in excess of 10%) is outrageous. Not sure why they want to be so close in price to the LX570 and at the same time alienate loyal Toyota customers.
does it have a fancy auto pilot self hight adjusting suspension?
It damn near drives its self has CAR tires.....I'm just checking
No, that feature is gone.

Facts not correct.
If it was correct AND the new 2008 was identical to the 2007 but with the new motor, I'd pay $7K for the motor.
Yes, but there are redesigns (with state of the art technology) across the automakers (including Toyota) year-in and year-out and this is one of the largest price increases I have seen to date. Yes, there are advanced technolgies in the 200 series, but there were big technology advances to the redesigns of the 1998 100, the 2003 4-runner, 2005 RX, 2007 Camry/ES, 2008 Highlander, various American brands, etc. Each of those had nominal price increases (1-2%). And these new 200 technologies will undoubtedly filter there way down the the 4-runner/GX and FJ lines, but you will not see a 12% increase to those lines b/c Toyota would not jeopardize its bread and butter sales.
Toyota has gotten the idea to gouge the ones that can afford the big increases (i.e., prospective LS, LX and LC owners). The LS460 is another that comes to mind that had a huge jump in price. I guess that's fine, but they are pushing the LC out of reach from the core Toyota enthusiasts when they get into LX and RR pricing territory.
The toyota website said base msrp of 56.2 and then a couple of hours later it said 63.2. Very strange. At 56.2 plus the 7 for the upgrade that would be 63.2 and that would be about right. 63.2 plus 7 puts it at 70 which is rr territory.
OK, so I wasn't crazy. Man, $63.2.....every day the wind leaves my sails....2007 looks better every day.
John,
You are out of your mind if you don't buy the new one instead of the 07. The new front suspension design on the Tundra is awesome and I doubt the LC differs much. The 5.7L V8 makes awesome power. Just do it![]()
I don't get it, whats the matter with your current one? I mean its your money. I understand somebody wanting a new one (200 series) because there curious, but replacing a sick lifted built 100 for a new 100? I can't seem to justify it. Unless your planning on keeping your old 100 for a rock buggyI need to see it. Unless EVERYTHING is tucked up underneath and out of the way (unlike the Runner, GX and FJC) I will not buy it. It better flex. Things better look like a 1-ton SUV. Damn, there's a 2007 100 in WHITE at a dealer near me.![]()
