Specs and Details by VIN

[Caveman]

I am looking for help to figure out the drive line specs etc fo a 2nd gen sr5 and a 3rd gen Taco. Have searched but couldnt really figure out how to decipher the vins like the landcruisers.

Is there any chance you could tell me what character this VIN is missing? I tried 0-9 inbetween the 'W' and 'S' and still got nothing on Carfax.

This is for a 1995 Land Cruiser I'm looking to buy (the guy emailed the partial VIN to me).
