What wires are you guys running? I'm usually very happy with the stock yazaki wires if they are in good condition. My new 80 came with some vatozone cheapies. Was thinking about ngk's POWER wires.

I went with OEM from CDan. Very impressive.
They come as a full harness, just plug in. Harness is already put together with new loom clips. How cool is that?

I used NGK and aside from slightly more radio noise they've been fine. But if I would have known about those routing clips I probably would have gone for the OEM.

I went with the NGK.
Woah, at that price I'd go with NGK. I've used them on 3 other Toys and never had a problem with them.
You can probably get them for around $120 from CDan. Pricey, but they will likely last you 15 or more years.

I've never experienced or heard of any ngk wire introducing more interference compared to stock.
Do those say yazaki on them? I prefer the stock wires as well but the PO ditched them. The yazakis are awesome but if you need to buy new wires for the price it makes sense to buy the ngk stock replacements for $57.00.
On mine, a lot of the plastic parts were missing or broken. A new set got me all of that.

Are you talking about the spacers? If so it would have still been cheaper to buy the ngk wires and just the missing spacers from toyota.

Running NGKs on all 3 of my Toys with no issues. Iridium plugs in my Avalon and Corolla with no issues, put OEM in Cruiser. Use dielectric on connections. I had corrosion issues on my Avalon and think it cause a rough idle until I cleaned and greased.
Make sure you change one plug at a time, that way wires stay in their correct spots, but wire routing is also in FSM. Do the cap and rotor if you don't know age.

I replaced the cap/ rotor as well before the long drive.
I just went to order new plug wires. $97 through my local Toyota dealership. It's worth it over the NGKs at that price right?!?!
Mr. T ONLY for wires IMHO. I ordered the NGK wires and compared them to Toyota. Quality wasn't close. Wires are critical, OEM lasts a long, long time. I think the Toyota wires are worth it.
Bumping an old thread, but my local dealer now wants $200 for an OEM set of wires!!
They'll typically knock about 20% off of that for TLCA, but still.
