I am discussing with the better half about plans. Before she says commits to going, she wants to know:
1) Are there any wives or kids going? If so, please chime in
2) How family friendly is this? Sitting around watching the guys drink doesn't qualify as family friendly
3) Are there any kid/family events at SORP, or do I need to send them to town
Wives and kids are more than.welcome. this is the event that my whole family wants to come to, including my 16 yoa teenage girl. Kids will have a blast I'm the creek and the wives sometimes huddle up and we get to watch them drink their wine.
White Trash of the Elwood Chapter, TORC4x4.org, Cottonland Cruisers.

This will be the 3rd year my wife comes along and she looks forward to it. She has not been to any other events but this one. If the kids were not in school we would probably have them with us as well. And several of the Krewe members will have there wives / better halves and / or kids with them. I don't think your wife or the kids will be disappointed.
My kids have a blast (10 year old boy and 14 year old girl), this will be their 4th year...I tell them if they are doing good in school, then they can miss two days...works every time...
Thanks for the response. Looks like there are some kids/wives coming. For the kids, are there any planned activities? Or anything there that will entertain them? I dont think they will want to ride in a truck the entire time
