tow

she has a factory (mounted to frame) hitch and is wired for lights....hope that helps.
89 owner's manual shows not to exceed a combined 6,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight and trailer.
Truck is 3520 gross weight.....sounds like the trailer is too heavy for her.

Sweet Troop

If it weren't for a recent Unimog purchase I would be all over this. I have seen and driven the trooper and can honestly say it's one of the nicest "oldies" around. If I wanted my wifes hooves to the nuts I would have bought it yesterday.

That Unimog you bought is AWESOME,,,,, I love that boxed in bed you made for the rear, how many can you sleep in that thing? is it bunks or hammoks? Also how big is that solar panel you mounted to the roof? I still have that Giant inverter if you wanna trade it for the water purification system???

we should meet up in WV at that old strip mine....and test her out and fire off a few rounds.

The bed is custom all aluminum and can sleep 5 comfortably, set up currently with 2 drop down hinged cots and queen size air bed on platform with storage drawers underneath. We installed a mechanized pop top so my 6'4" ass can stand without scalping. Found that solar panel setup in Budapest of all places, was there on a training exercise last year and saw one out on the ranges. Had is shipped last February and final install was in August, sits about 5' x 4'8" and will charge and run just about anything we need.
We should shoot for WV in April, those mining and logging trails have always tested our collections.

Thats a holden jackaroo in Aust!
