Looks like bamabrock and I will be leaving Little Rock AR early on the 31st for anyone who is interested in a small caravan. Gonna make Albq that day, then up to Ouray the next morning.

We are going to take the high line out and going out early to explore a bit and acclimate as mentioned earlier. We will be leaving SC on 7/28, making it past Nashville 7/29, past Topeka 7/30 and roll in to Ouray 7/31.

May need a bit of time to decompress on-site after 1900+ mi with a 1yo and a 5yo!

Leaving from Fayetteville Arkansas to Denver probably Monday the 29th Via the long haul through Kansas..

We're leaving the 28th from Carrollton, GA. Our route will take us through Oklahoma City. Will stay in the Salida/Buena Visa area 29-31 (rafting the Arkansas if flows permit, trail riding, or both.). Should reach Ouray Thursday (1st) afternoon.

Few guys recommended I post our itinerary here. Leaving Fairfax VA on Tuesday, arriving in Nashville that night, and Albuquerque Wednesday night.

We're making a pit stop on our way to Ouray for a night in Dolores, then arriving in Ouray Thursday AM.

If you are WED night in Albuquerqu, and spending a night in Dolores, that means Ouray on Friday, right?

If heading to Ouray Thursday, a few of us will be leaving Albuquerque Thursday morning headed up, you should join in.

Leaving from Walton, Ky on 7/19. Going to Tulsa, Ok for a few days then on to Valle Vidal in Nm, then on to Red River Nm. Then going to cut north or west eventually getting to Durango. North to Ouray by Tuesday 7/30. Going home on the laser beam route straight across Kansas. Hopefully I will still have 3 living children at the end of this trip. Lol. This will be the longest car trip we have ever taken. Any pointers?

I could plan on leaving ABQ Thursday to caravan from there to Ouray. That would either put me at staying two days there, or a night in Santa Fe then a night in ABQ. Or just leave home a day later. I wouldn't mind one bit meeting up in ABQ to travel in Ouray!

I'll probably be coming through ABQ from Texas. If I can get there early enough, I may contact y'all to see about driving up with the group.

Below are my two route options. Prefer to go the southernmost route, via I20, as it does save a couple hours. But I'll drive up to Little Rock and hit 40 if that's a route that a caravan winds up taking.

It is the same amount of travel for me to get to LR, AR via I40 or to get to Monroe, LA via I20 and I will be in one of those two cities on Tuesday (7/30) night. Get up early on Wednesday (7/31) and truck it on out to Albuquerque by that night

Bama you and Nick (and whoever else) are welcome to meet me in Monroe that Tuesday night. My house is being renovated and MIGHT be ready by then. If so I have plenty of room. If not, my buddy is a GM at a Residence Inn and can set you up with a room for next to nothing.

If we decide to go via LR, that's fine with me too. I can spend Tuesday night with family there.

Either way we should all try to get together for a drink or something on Tues (if you guys get into town early enough).
