SOLVED: Looking for size of clutch hose copper washer

In my haste over the weekend, I lost mine with a new slave install. I searched, but could not find any info on the size for this crush washer. I can guess at it, but didnt want to experience any possible leaks with a washer that may be slightly too big. Or does it really matter here?

You can buy copper washers for this application at your local a/p stores. They're pretty generic. Similar to something like a 3/8 washer. Maybe take your hose with you.

Its a copper washer, close is likely good enough.

Have found true value hardware stores usually have a bin of assorted copper washers. Have used these in the pat without issue

Measure the OD of banjo then outer edge of where crush goes, there's your diameter.

Copper crush washer for clutch slave line (line that attached to the slave end - in my case, 1981 US Spec)
Outer Diameter (OD): 14mm
Inner Diameter (ID): 10mm

Not much help here but if you plan on reusing copper washers I hang them on a fold of wire then heat them up with a butane torch to dull red and lower them into water. Nice and soft again.

Besides annealing you can rub them on a flat sharpening stone to remove burrs/high spots. Everything helps to get a good seal.
