Nice GX! It's a tough time of the year to sell anything really with the holidays, taxes, etc. That thing is super clean, tastefully modded and ready for someone to come along and finish it with the second stage of the build. I think it'll go quickly at $23K. Unfortunately these GX's just don't hold their value quite like the 4Runner or 200 series and the book on that thing is below $20K. That said, it doesn't mean that there isn't a buyer out there for yours at or around your asking price. Might I ask what you are hanging onto and building instead?

Agreed. With the caveat that I bought private party from someone I know, I was able to get a stock 2011 with under 70k miles for less than $19k. Obviously this ride is much sweeter than mine, though.

Thanks. I think its still a largely undiscovered alternative to a 4Runner. The GX isn't worth selling if the market dropped that much.

I have an S4 lease that I'm in for another year. Still not sure what the next project would be (40 Series, Defender, Tundra TRD Pro).

I’d honestly rather pay the premium and have this truck over the 4runner for uniqueness alone (I see 5+ lifted 4runners on the way to work daily - not kidding). And if you haven’t drive the GX - the V8 is noticeably stronger and cabin is significantly quieter.

I know you don’t want to hear it but from one North Carolinian to another - I feel like eBay would be your best advertising platform at this point.

However, I get the sense you don’t really want to sell the truck .... but if the right buyer / price came along you’d let it go 😉 just keep enjoying it for the time being - a few more miles won’t drastically affect the selling price

either way GL

Yeah, I definitely would want a GX460 over a 5th gen 4Runner (I currently have a 2006 V6). This one is done tastefully and even has alot of the modifications I would have chosen myself, the Dobinson MRR non-remotes seem like a good choice suspension.

As a side conversation, how do you like them?

Was happy with the Doby MRR. Saw they came out recently with the adjustable version. The ride was pretty close to stock with a little less body roll. Never really got to test it on anything technical, but would do the same suspension again if given the chance.

Highly likely. PS, jealous of your current garage. Had a 99 M3 coupe years ago and was actually looking for a LX450 before I moved on to the GX
Haha thanks man, the E36 chassis is a personal favorite and hard to stay away from; you'll come back around...
