SOLD to Rigger........
To make room for other specimens the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum is offering this 1969 FJ40 for purchase. It is a survivor that is remarkably clean considering the age. Original paint, 3 speed column shift, drum brakes, a vintage Ramsey 200R-297 power take-off winch and very little rust (worth a look for the latter alone). The odometer reads 40,519 miles. It would be a fun as-is "survivor driver" or a very solid restoration candidate. The vehicle is currently on display at the museum in Salt Lake City Utah and is available for inspection during business hours.

Reduced to $13,900.00. I can be contacted via mud private message or email me

The new space looks great. I can't wait to get back to SLC and check it out. GLWS

It is significantly larger than the old building. I'm quite fond of it.

Well-played.....

Bump, still available.

vehicle is still available.

What is the color on this truck? It looks real close to my original color which I believe to be Coronado beige.

It is the typical light tan/beige of the day.

If you were to buy it, what would you say it needed to be a daily driver?
Is there anything not really factory on it besides the diamond plate?

I would rebuild both master cylinders and look the chassis over. IE brake linings, wheel bearing adjustment, fluids and such. I would then start driving it and address needs as they come up. The diamond plate is only on the rockers and I do not know why it is there. I do not see indications of bad rust under them. The only other "aftermarket" items are the Ramsey PTO winch and the front bumper is shorter and thicker than stock. It has a trailer hitch bolted to the rear crossmember. It has no radio or antenna and no evidence of it ever having them.

Remember no radio, manual steering, drum brakes, three-on-the-tree, and no A/C. Operating this vehicle should be the destination, not a conveyance to the destination.

I completely agree! Just wanted to get an expert on-hand opinion. Thanks!

My pleasure...:)

That moment when $14,900 doesn't get you a road-ready cruiser anymore.

It seems to be time to start exporting close to original FJ40's from the US,
