Cannot find this answered anywhere online, but does anybody know if the original factory soft top can be unzipped for just the top section as shown? Without the sides etc.

Thanks - clearly uber hard to find or purchase. May need to be custom from what I can tell.
the only place that is possibly still selling them is Julie at dirt road tops.... but... I think there's still a LONG wait .... last I heard she was very behind in work

the side windows and 1/4 windows I sewed "around window" style with the bias then cut out inside after...
the larger window I sewed "outside window" style with the bias and then you fold under and sew inside... had to definitely do this way to do the "johnny door" over and thru it... it is a cleaner look as well... but... i always liked the 'around' window style

Thanks, I think the real challenge is the support frame under these kind of tops. It’s not just as easy as fitting it to the windshield frame and the oem roll bar. It needs the full hoop structure to look correct. And now we are talking more $$$$$ than I possibly want to invest. Sucks.
I have one. I bought it off the forum years ago. There was a guy selling soft tops on here that turned into quite a debacle. It came out of that deal. I left it on when trailering the rig home from Moab and it tore badly from a big wind gust. I haven’t gotten it repaired yet. I bet there are still a couple floating around peoples garages on here if you post a wanted ad in the classifieds.
