Wanna buy anything else to sweeten your offer?Hi Mark, I may be a player if these are for a 40 series application. I'm hoping we can do $100 shipped?
Drake
Well, I'm still looking for a pair of these 2 styles if you have them. The 1st picture is a hub that I saw on the floor of a picture you recently posted. The 2nd picture is the HUSKY hub. I am missing the chrome levers but would buy the whole hubs if neededWanna buy anything else to sweeten your offer?
Thanks for checking Mark. I'm still ok with the AVMs for 100 shipped. Let me know if it's a go and I will call you tomorrow to follow up.Don’t have either of those Drake?
Hi Mark, I will give you a call this afternoon for the hubs.If you’re really dead set on not buying anything else, I’ll go $110 shipped, today.
Just got your msg. Will call U back tomorrow.Hi Mark, I will give you a call this afternoon for the hubs.
Payment sent for both pair of hubsJust got your msg. Will call U back tomorrow.
Hi Mark, I received the hubs, thank you. However, the barrel hubs are different from each other (not a matched pair). Did these come off the same axle? Do you know if these differences apply to a specific application/s? The spline on the right is considerably more robust than the one on the left and the one on the left actually has a pilot?Just got your msg. Will call U back tomorrow.
Thanks for the reminder Drake. Although I keep trying to slow things down, it still feels like I’ve got as many irons in the fire as @ToyotaMatt sometimes.
Simple answer: there was a great hub mashup in 2005 or so. After watching my son perform in the World Championships of the marching drum corps in Madison WI, I rented a Uhaul and drove around the Midwest, loading it up with Landcruiser parts. By the time I reachedProffitts Cruisers inCO I had 22 drum brake front axles on board.
Jeremiah needed empty housings for cut and turn projects, and we made a deal for him to strip half of the housings and return me all the guts. The next few hours were a blur. @Grease Cruiser probably doesn’t remember even that much. Long story short, if the hubs were ever matched, they became unmatched then and there. Since they looked visibly the same from the outside, I certainly didn’t pay attention.
What would you like to do? I’d prefer a followup by telephone, but that’s your call, literally and figuratively.![]()
I remember the blur for sure! I recall all of us tearing down housings so we could load you up! Good times. Thanks for the reminder Drake. Although I keep trying to slow things down, it still feels like I’ve got as many irons in the fire as @ToyotaMatt sometimes.
