Ever since I saw mopdog’s posting a month ago, I’ve been considering letting one of these rare birds go. But with so many irons in the fire, it eventually slipped my mind…until today.

I pulled this particular light off a ‘73 that I parted out in January of’94. IOW, it’s been stored inside for the last 29 years. And owing to the fact that it was a local SoCal truck to begin with, rust is not an issue.

The chrome on the top side of the bezel is a 9; the rest of the light is a 9+. You can see from the pics that the truck was subjected to not one but two cheesy resprays by the overspray on part of the housing and the inside of the rubber gasket (which is in excellent condition) In contrast, the lens gasket is ready to crumble to pieces, so the fact that there is no oxidation inside the lens compartment can only be attributed to the dry environment.

I will offer this for $450 shipped if that’s all you want to buy. If you’d like to buy some ROUTINE stuff, I would consider a lower price in a larger package. Please call the shop to follow up.

If you need more pictures, lmk.

Depending on how this goes, I may be letting go of something REALLY rare in the near future.
