What was your list of parts to start this conversion so that I know just what to get for my rig?

That is a pretty sick setup. Don't the crossover steering links get in the way of the leaf springs when the springs compress? Also, that is your stock steering right? What modifications did you make?

i drove it around today, it rides just as good as it did before!! thanks for the tires dieselcruiserhead and thanks again kurt for the c&t,

i got the high steer from marlin crawler and i highly recomend it, very nice!!

i fell out of it earlier, i forgot how big it was, stepped out and smack, right on my face!! it was cool. :D

ill post some flex pics in a minute

have you regeard or still running stock 62 gears?
if not regeard how does it feel with 35? if regeard which gears?

ive got the stock 4:10s and it doesnt lag to bad but i do have a vortec and i never really had the stock engine so i dont know if that make a differance or not

heres the parts list:
marlin crawler highsteer: $220 with shipping
custom 1ton steering links: $240(local shop made this, thanks Rocklogic)
cut and turn: $200 with core www.cruiseroutfitters.com (once again i was very satisfied)
spring perches: $40
ubolts:100 bucks for good ones
brake lines: $58
welding wire: $40 12 pound spool

best damn 898 dollars ive ever spent!!

Looks really nice, not to high either. Cookiemonster has been wanting to replace the stock suspension, with a four inch lift and heavier leaf springs. I would go for a smaller lift and better springs for sure. Too many other projects though right now to start another.
Love the picture of junior standing next to the truck though.

haha thats my nephew/ tool grabber.
i went to a local trail (rattlesnake/constrictor) to test it out, the cruiser is definitly a monster when it comes to crawling to rocks but i quickly noticed a problem. my shackles become inverted really easy, ive never had a problem with this before, is there some thing i can do to prevent this? maybe make a bumbstop for my shackles?

Front or rear?
