So I'm transplanting 60-series axles under my 55 in conjunction a 5.3L/4l60E. The front pumpkin for stock 60 axle is already situated at a 12-degree upward angle.

What angle are people running to get proper castor settings with SOA on a 55?

On the 40's I've read it's about 14-degrees. Given that, I'm not sure if it's really worth doing the cut & turn for a couple degrees? Give me your thoughts or let me know if I"m just over analyzing the situation.

I would do some more if you can, The iron moose has 16-17 up on the pinion with 4 on the caster! Two piece shaft as well, to keep out of the pan and off the rocks!!

Got a picture of your two-piece shaft or any other details? Not familiar with it (yet)

Thanks.

I've got the 4 deg caster and 15 deg on the pinion...
