FEAT (Four Wheel-drive emergency assistance team)

I stumbled across this today as I was looking at tire information.
Basically a big partnership with the one of the states emergency response systems that has users submit to background check and matches up requests for transit via zip code of drivers and essential hospital staff.
No injured patient transport, etc.

This might be a great thing to do with either our club or all the metro clubs in Atlanta.

I did leave a message with one of my friends at Piedmont that I could help.

that'd be great if we can get involved with something like that, good PR and obviously good to help when needed. Set it up there mr. land use guy, oh crap wait, Josh is supposed to give the commands now. :flipoff2:

I'm gettin' sick of driving my home office and had to get the service van outta my drive way and back to where it belongs. I shoveled for about 20 minutes and decided there was an easier way...

Yeah, I'd thought about trying to get something like this started many years ago when the big tornado came through the Dunwoody area. I thought about how cool it'd be to have a big truck able to drive over fallen trees or to pull them out of the way; lots quicker than having to saw through all of them one by one just to get to the next one.

Ted: NICE WORK!

Andrew, 22 GBR Members are CERT Certified with Cherokee County. CERT = Community Emergency Response Team.

Here is another group as well.
Open Hand

They are a food/meal delivery service for the disabled/elderly.
Deliveries are typically done before 1:00.

The announcer from 11 Alive mentioned they needed help this evening, I put in a call but haven't received a call back.
This would likely be a good org to be involved w regularly but especially in these situations.

I'll post up if they could use our help!
