I am replacing the snorkel on my 1985 HJ 75. The new snorkel I ordered does not line up with the air duct. It appears to be off by a couple of inches. I do not want to cut out the fender well. Do I have any options? The seller is reputable and says it only needs a modification to fit properly. Any help or suggestions appreciated!

Carl, Can you post photos showing the difference between the two snorkels?
Carl, When you get around to it, send me as detailed photos as possible of the inside fender issue. I may have some ideas.

Yes, that's where the problem is! The cutout in the fender doesn't line up with the snorkel. Never mind the new snorkel has two anchor bolts, one on each end of the snorkel and my old one has four. Even if I can find a way to attach, looks like the fender will have to be patched and repainted. Nothing is simple!!
