I finally have most of the Cruiser to the paint shop (still working on the main body but everything else is there). Got a few pieces back and couldn't be happier! Take a look...

Nice!

Looking nice! Get it done :steer:

For the most part I'll reuse the glass...most is in great shape and came out easy. The seals don't look too hard to replace (great thread on MUD about it). I'll probably replace the windshield...its in bad scratched up shape...you can't see through it w/ sun or precipitation very well. Also, the door windows are pretty rough so I'll see about getting them replaced as well.

Looking good Kyle, keep the pressure on and get her done.:steer:

Yeah still waiting on the paint shop...probably won't be until after Thanksgiving...they got a bad batch of primer and had to start over.

I put a Powertrax Lockrite Locker in. Easy to install and had pretty good reviews. I ordered from Rocky Road which had the best prices of everywhere. They have a lot of info on the locker on their webpage.

Probably better that they're taking their time and doing it right.

Cool. Thanks for the info.

Rocky Road are good people. A long time ago, back when I was into Suzuki Samurai's, I spent a lot of money with them. I've had really good luck with lock-rites too, had those in the 4runner.

If anybody is around and not on the Christmas tree run and wants to help me out, the Cruiser will be back from the paint shop about 2:30 pm and I could use a hand or two to help lift it off the trailer and onto the frame. If you can help, let me know and I'll get you directions. Thanks in advance!

No luck today...I tried calling the paint shop before heading over there and he never answered...so instead of inconveniencing multiple people I canceled. I'm still waiting to see what the schedule is for the guy who has the trailer for this week. I'll keep you posted...

OK...so going to try this again on Thursday 4:30-5pm or so. I could use some hands to help lift the body off the trailer and onto the frame...put in the body mounts and re-install the roll bar. I have everything ready to go, so hopefully it won't take too long. The weather will be MUCH nicer as well...
