wtf, you think we don't know what green wood is?
and who in this thread is a city slicker?
BIO apparently doesn't know. He dropped about a thousand country boy notches for even suggesting someone would use treated lumber to BBQ... treated lumber is below using quick start charcoal briquettes. Hell, I'm even getting a chemical smoke headache thinking about it. Seriously, wth?

Liam, next time you come down to ATL we are going to have to go to Fox Bros. They kick Fat Matt's ass.
Beaufart is a yankee. s*** what is the world coming to? Damn Yankees trying to tell everyone how they are supposed to do everything.
If you guys have a cook off I would love to be on the judging panel.
Well, I'm not BBQin' in my fireplace... so who cares.
Maybe I'm missing something here. Did TuT invent some new type of non-carcinogenic smoke? is your smoke better than mine? fill me in.
lol.. I've lived in the south longer than you have been alive... and I'm not telling anyone how to do anything, just posting the way I do it.
apparently highly processed recycled pellets from an fashionable store are better than wood.... who knew.

anyone tried plum tree wood? I've got some wood set aside from a tree I cut down. It's hard, wondering if I should save it for bbq.

lol... I give up on this thread/subject.
you gave up the minute you started boiling meat...
lol....so if you need wood up north you just pull a few treated laths from the neighbors wood fence to do your Bbq'ing?
