Except that corned beef is almost always better than smoked brisket. There is no analog for smoked pork. What pork product is better than smoked pork? There is none.

What kind of ketchup do use for your beef sauce?

I don't. Therein lies one of the problems I have with mopping bbq, if it's good, you don't need anything wet anywhere near it, except for maybe a coffee can of water between the fire box and the racks. Dry rub it, throw it on the smoker, then eat it. It's supposed to make your mouth water, so there's no need.

However, if I were to make bbq sauce, I'd catch the drippings and mix with tomato sauce and other ingredients.
