for some reason i just cant conceptualize how to read the parts diagram. but i am looking for part #s for the 2 small hoses that connect to the bottom of the radiator (see 2nd screenshot below - the one he's got his hand on, and the one to the right of it that is dripping coolant). Speaking of that hose on the right, when i removed mine, it was dripping what looked like oil. granted, it was dripping onto brown cardboard, but it didn't look dark red - it looked light brown. does that mean i have a bigger issue?

Wrong diagram. Transmission cooling lines is what you need. @cruiserpatch is somebody that can help you. Quick shipping and a good guy.

Not 100 series diagram. Not dipping coolant. It's dipping ATF, from Transmission cooler hose.
Looks like you've 03-07 LC/LX. The hoses are generally okay, provide OEM clamps used. But never hurts to refresh.
WWW.partsouq.com. Use your VIN #. Drivetrain. Oil cooler & tubes (ATM). Get P/N, buy in USA.

Make sure to check A/T level when done. If 04-07 use 97f ((97f -115F) A/T fluid temp #1. Make sure you understand how. Make sure, to use vehicle spec ATF. 03 Toy IV ATF, 04-up Toy WS ATF

Best is you place year make model, miles build in signature line.

sounds like i've been using partsouq wrong all along. i've always just clicked the first one or the third one on the list. i will start using my vin

ok so just to be clear, you're saying the red circle (see below) is a hose full of ATF? that's the one that was dripping a different looking fluid on my radiator install. im replacing it bc the neck of the hose looks like it might have torn. I figure while im at it, i'll replace the hose in the blue circle too. i thought that the red circle was the oil cooler hose and the blue was the transmission cooler hose? either way, are neither hose transporting coolant? that's the main part i don't understand.

I ordered these and am hoping that's the right p/n's
Transmission Oil Cooler Hose: 32943-60210
Oil Cooler Inlet Hose: 32941-60290

By using VIN at PQ, you see your vehicle, even its colors and build date. Build date, key to correct parts.

Both ATF. Red circle is ATF oil cooler hose from transmission (A/T), goes into bottom of rad. Blue is its "OUT"ATF oil cooler hose, from rad to oil cooler (small radiator in front on AC condensor and radiator).

Here's the pre oil cool, that is in bottom of radiator. Nipple thread on it that, hoses connect to. Interesting, in 200 series follow is reversed.

This clear hose attached to ATF return nipple (Red arrow points to) from oil cooler radiator. Runs to a catch bucket for A/T flushing. This happens to be 98-02, which ATF lines are the same, but power steering hoses (blue arrow) are a bit different configuration, than 03-07.
The OUT bottom of rad ATF cooler hose, Is just out of sight, below return nipple (red). It goes (in) to ATF oil cooler radiator in front of AC condensor.

When we say "oil cooler". Many think of engine oil cooler. Engine oil cooler, is only the parts oil filter attaches to. It has coolant hose from block, then out to pipe going up front of engine. Oil filter nor hose is attached in this picture

omg thank you so much for that explanation - it all makes so much more sense to me now! i'm replacing these hoses out of an abundance of caution, but what would happen if i didn't replace them and one had a leak? I can't see live ATF temperatures with my scangauge so i can't actively monitor it, but would i get a check engine light if the ATF temp gets too high?

Likely shifting issue, if to low. May or may not set off warning A/T oil temp light.

Note: 2004-07 A/T under filled at factory. TSB change, lowered ATF temp level set to. Whereas we don't loss much replacing engine radiator. When coupled with already low, spells trouble.

Search mud for how to flush 2004 - up
