This is a 3-speed t-case mated to an SM420. The other day I noticed a couple small cracks in the case under the low range output gear that appear to be minimally seaping oil. Presumably this happened a few years ago when the hardware holding the input gear on the 420 output shaft got loose and went for a ride.
Am I right in thinking the cracks are of little/no structural significance based on where they are? Will they spread? Clean it up good and epoxy over it to seal? The case has a @orangefj45 t-case saver and nose cone ring, and with a quick look over I don't see any other issues on the exterior. The thin/worn spot the crack runs into is from before I had the case (rubbed against a skidplate?).
